C&M Transportation and Safety Consulting, LLC provides a one on one environmental type operation which is readily available depending on the operational needs of your company.  We give your company "Peace of Mind" by providing the necessary training and the tools to ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSA). We offer on site inspections of equipment, and review of of the following areas that are subject to inspections during an audit from FMCSA, maintenance records, driver qualification files, driver logs, drug and alcohol files and accident records. Why is it so important to make sure the areas listed above are in compliance? As we all know the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) governs and makes sure any commercial motor vehicle operation adheres to the guidelines, rules and regulations.

With over 40 years of experience in the trucking industry Michael Dunn and his staff offer the knowledge and background to assist and serve the trucking industry. Michael started with DMV Enforcement Size and Weight Division and later transferred to the Motor Carrier Safety Division of the North Carolina Highway Patrol. Michael has over 28 years of enforcement experience to include supervision of motor carrier officers and the state's first new entrant auditors as well as working with federal agents from FMCSA during compliance audits on trucking companies. In addition to working as a field supervisor with DMV and NCSHP his duties also allowed him to work at the DMV and NCSHP Motor Carrier headquarters in Raleigh dealing directly with the trucking industry in conjunction with the NC Trucking Association and Federal Motor Carrier Administration programs.
